You’ve probably heard that cardio can help you burn fat and keep your cardiovascular system healthy. If you have integrated it into your workout plan, kudos! However, make sure that you are not making one of these cardio mistakes that might be reducing the effectiveness of your efforts.
Doing the Same Thing Over and Over
If you are doing exactly the same cardio workout at the same intensity day after day, you body has probably adapted to it. This will reduce the gains that you see and likely become boring, which may make you dread your workout. If you prefer jogging or running, mix it up and walk sometimes or otherwise vary the intensity. Throwing in some jumping jacks or taking a spin sometimes can also help to keep it fresh.
